Wander around any industry exhibition and pick up a selection of brochures. There is a good chance that most of them will contain at least one language error and quite likely half-a-dozen more.

It seems that these days, even if a company sub-contracts the production of its communication materials to a third party, the end result will have language errors in it. What message does that send to your customers?

Invariably on the front page of the brochure it will boldly be claimed: "Our products/services are of the highest quality." Yet the company hasn't even been able to produce error-free documentation!

For a small outlay and via a very simple interface you can ensure that your company doesn't make the same mistake. If you stop just one prospective new customer from walking away after scanning your brochures, it will have been worth it.

The proposition of this service is simple: send us the final draft of your customer marketing document, and we will check that there are no language or typographical errors in it. Any errors we do find we will identify and suggest corrections for.

Furthermore, if after Istaris Business Services has checked your document an error is subsequently discovered that we missed, we will refund your money in full. This is the Istaris guarantee that gives you the confidence to go ahead and publish.

To make the service as easy to use as possible, we have a standard pricing structure:

- For each A4 sheet of text in your document, we charge a fixed price of £UK 10 (or 15 euros).
- There is a minimum order value of £UK 25 (or 40 euros).
- For pages containing diagrams and for presentations we charge a pro-rata price, based on the text content.
- All charges are subject to the addition of UK VAT (where applicable).

To order the service, simply attach your document to an email and send it to . Include in your email the following information:

- Whether you want the document reviewed to UK English or US English standards [Note: if no preference is indicated, UK English will be assumed]
- The name and address of the person to whom our invoice should be sent
- A contact telephone number
- The order number or reference (if any)
- The date by which you need the document reviewed [Note: please allow at least 2 working days]
- If your company is not based in the UK or registered for VAT in the UK, but is registered for VAT in another country of the European Union, your company's VAT registration number

We shall send a reply email, confirming our acceptance of your order and the price to be charged.

Following our review of your document, we shall send an email summarising the status of the document. We shall list any errors we have found and propose corrections for those errors.

We reserve the right to withhold the service if the document is found to contain an unusually large number of errors (i.e. it was not in a state ready for publication at the time it was sent to us). In this case, we shall notify you by email of our decision and no fee will be payable.

Our liability in respect of language or typographical errors in a document that were present but not identified at the time of execution of the service shall be limited to the value of fees paid to us for reviewing that document.

For completed service, payment is due within 30 days of the date of receipt of our invoice.
